Vighnaharan Dhol Pathak is not limited to playing instruments; it is a family that brings together people of all ages, fostering a familiar environment.

In 2016, our “Vighnaharan Dhol Pathak” won the first prize in the Dhol-Tasha Competition organized by the Maharashtra Government in Nashik. We also had the opportunity to participate in the finals held in Raigad.

During the “2016 Ganapati Visarjan Procession,” our team introduced a new activity called “Jhanj Pathak.” Students from Day Care Centre School performed Jhanj in their respective uniforms on an open truck, while Ideal Coaching Classes students conveyed a social message to our society. The citizens of Nashik responded enthusiastically to this initiative.

It is worth mentioning that in the 2022 Ganapati Visarjan Miravnuk, our pathak had more than 350 vadaks, 100 dhols, 22 tashas, 21 dhwajs, and 100 jhanjs, among other instruments.

Our team is not only involved in playing dhol, tasha, and toll, but we also actively participate in other social gatherings such as Vighnaharan Premier League and Parents Get-together.

Over the years, our team has maintained a social commitment by collecting relief funds for drought-affected farmers and organizing blood donation camps under the name of Vighnaharan for Seva. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the citizens for their enthusiastic response to our team’s innovative activities. A big thanks also goes to the donors who have supported our team from time to time.

We extend our gratitude to all the parents who encourage the players in our team and provide their assistance, as well as to all the citizens who support and appreciate us.

We are confident that you will continue to stand by our vadaks, just as you have done so far.
